Grandma Gunnell and Girls

On Sunday we decide that we would go to Preston to see
my grandma Gunnell. She had not seen Brinley yet so with
no church it was perfect to go and spend the day. We had a
good time visiting and eating yummy food! Thanks grandma!

These are our girls! I thought Brinley looked like
Savannah more but she is a good mix, kinda has her
own look when you compare the pictures! Brinley
defiantly has the most hair!

This is in the delivery room, one of the nurses asked if we
a camera and Brian gave it to them to take this picture.
I am kind of out of it still!

Alta View does this new "Dinner for Two" you get to chose
between steak, chicken cordon bleu or salmon and then they
bring it in on this nice table and go all out your first night
with your new baby. I also got a really nice robe! It is all
new since we had the other 2 girls! We were half done eating
when Brian decided to take the picture. Ignore how horrible
I look I did just have a baby!

c-section! Doesn't he look so cute!

Life with 3 girls!

Well here we are almost 2 weeks later and I am finally finding time to do a quick update. We had Brinley Denise Mitchell on July 22 at 8:35 am. She weighed 7lbs and 10oz and was 20 in long. We had her c-section and all went well. Brinley came out screaming in full force, she is doing well and changing everyday. I am recovering well, every birth gets easier with less pain for me. I do not feel as though I had a baby 2 weeks ago. Savannah and Mallarie love having Brinley, they love to kiss her, hold her, and are constantly doing just that. Mallarie looked and my belly the other day and said no Brinley any more, her downstairs. I will post pictures soon!
I need a new title for our blog so any ideas?

Daddy and His "Girls"!

Brinley Denise Mitchell born on July 22, 2009 at 8:35 a.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and is 20 inches long. Lots of black hair and big dark eyes. She is beautiful.

Savannah is so proud! In fact, while she was holding Brinley, she calmed right down and went to sleep.

Sunset or Heaven?

I was driving home tonight from Sandy and Savannah ask me what the light by the mountain was. I told her it was called a sunset, that it was the sun going to sleep. Savannah said Oh I thought it was where Heavenly Father and Jesus lived. It is so funny how kids think.

Fathers Day Tie!

Our ward had a primary activity on Thursday and they had
the kids decorate ties for their dads. Then on Sunday all the
dads wore the ties. Some dads had 2 or 3 ties to support each
of their kids that made a tie. It was fun to see all the ties.
Savannah was very excited to give it to Brian and he wore it
with pride. He even let Mallarie put on the some foam dots
that I had that made it a little more silly! Brain is such a good
dad and we love him very much!

I Love To See The Temple

We went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House on
Wednesday. It was really neat once again to be able to take
the girls and let them see inside the temple. They both have
such a special love for the temple and get so excited when we
drive by one. Mallarie sometimes thinks that church houses are
temples. The I love To See The Temple bench is across the street
by the church if any one is going to the open house.

Real Soccer and an Engagment!

It is about 10:30p.m so Savannah is a little dazed.

Brian's sister Rachel got engaged that night. Adam had a drawing planned to have her ticket called and she had to try and kick the soccer ball into a net blind folded and was told if she made it she would get a pair of season tickets. When the blind fold came off Adam was on his knee. It was sweet all of our family was there and his. Congrats Rachel and Adam!

My beautiful daughters!

Here are Some cute pictures I got taken of the girls for Savannah's 4 year and Mallarie's 2 year. I think they turned out cute. Savannah has always loved getting her pictures taken and is very photogenic. Mallarie is opposite we have to work really hard to get the good ones. The one of her in the pink Easter dress she is on my lap, you can see a little of my jean covered leg in the corner. They still turn out good but man they really earn their money with her!

Grandma's tub!

On Saturday mornings when we are in Ephraim the girls always want to bath in Grandma's tub. They love all the bubbles that the jets make. and they could stay in there all day if we let them!!

Shorts and a horse ride!

So Brian went on a horse ride with my dad and he had shorts and tennis shoes on. Kinda funny to see. and when they got back they took Savannah, she loves to ride the horses!

Feeding the baby cows!

Here we are in Ephraim feeding 4 baby cows by bottle because their mommies died. The girls really loved it. It was fun to have them experience this because it is something I remember doing as a kid. Brian even got to try it for the first time! Only in Ephraim!

On Sunday morning Savannah even let the cow suck on her fingers and said it tickled!
